Before the sun comes up, while most of Columbia is still sleeping, Bobbie is already at the pit.
He’s trimming briskets with precision, layering seasoning with a steady hand, and preparing the smoker like a craftsman preparing his tools. Bobbie has spent years honing his skills — cooking for friends, for family, for neighbors, and eventually for a community that fell in love with his food.
Bobbie’s style is simple:

Born in Dallas. Built on Real Texas BBQ.
Boot Stompin’ BBQ wasn’t created in a boardroom — it started in Dallas, Texas, where barbecue is a way of life. Surrounded by some of the best pit culture in the country, Bobbie fell in love with the process of slow-smoked meat, real wood fire, and the tradition of feeding people from the heart.
Dallas is where the recipes were perfected.
Where the brisket technique was refined.
Where the Texas-style flavor was born.
But it didn’t stay there.
When life brought Bobbie to Columbia, Tennessee, he brought that authentic Texas BBQ mentality with him — the smoke, the seasoning, the craft, and the passion that can only come from years behind a pit.
